Crest 3, South Point 0 (25-15, 25-10, 25-23)

Crest (13-7, 7-5) put the final touches on a fourth-place finish in the Big South 3A Conference behind Kings Mountain, Forestview and North Gaston. South Point finished the regular season 5-12, 3-9.

Alexa McCullen (seven kills, 15 assists, five aces) and Khadijah Joyner (six kills, six blocks) led Forestview (15-3, 7-2 Big South), which hosts Ashbrook on Tuesday.

South Point 2, Forestview 1 (25-13, 16-25, 27-25)

Forestview was led by Lauren Franklin (six kills), Bri Adams (five kills, five aces) and Kendall Craig and Kelly Fort with five kills each. The Jaguars (12-4, 5-4 Big South) host Ashbrook on Tuesday.

Nikki Wilson led all servers with six aces (23 service points) and Clare Dotts posted six kills. Juliana Perez, Taylor Penn and Lauren Parker led the Green Wave on defense. Ashbrook visits Kings Mountain on Thursday.

Kayla Carr (19 service points, three kills), Susannah Pennington (four kills), Maykayla Poole (seven service points, five assists) and Morgan Mahaffey (five assists) led South Point (11-3, 6-3 Big South), which hosts Forestview on Thursday.

Kings Mountain 3, South Point 0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-7)

The host Lady Mountaineers improved to 12-4 overall and 6-1 in Big South 3A play. Paisley Williams (5 kills, 2 aces), Taquisha Smith (7 assists, 5 aces, 2 digs) and Nicole Ford (5 kills, 3 aces, 1 solo block) paced Kings Mountain. Next up for the Lady Mountaineers is a 4:30 p.m. JV/varsity doubleheader at Hunter Huss on Tuesday.

Olivia Denton (seven kills), Sully Owens (18 service points, 17 assists) and Jordan Mackey (defensive leader, nine service points) paced North Gaston. The Wildcats (9-5, 4-2 Big South) host St. Stephens on Monday.
